Benefits
Southeastern Aluminum
Products offer a number of excellent benefits to
full-time employees. These apply
to both salaried and hourly paid employees, and will be explained in
greater detail during new employee orientation.
- Southeastern Aluminum Products offers employees a choice of
a comprehensive PPO or HMO plan for employees and their dependants
and/or spouses. Health insurance usually commences after first
90 days of employment.
- We also offer a comprehensive dental insurance plan to employees
and their dependants and/or spouses. This plan commences at the
same time as Health Insurance.
- Employees receive paid time off for designated major holidays
and receive discretionary paid vacation days that increase with
the length of employment.
- Southeastern Aluminum Products offers employees a short-term
disability insurance plan, which provides a percentage of your salary
for up to 26 weeks in the event of a covered accident or illness.
- Employees are also offered a long term disability plan, which
pays a percentage of your salary after 180 days of disability.
- Life Insurance for Employees and Dependents
- Southeastern Aluminum Products offers Life Insurance plans for
employees and/or their dependents and spouses and is available after
the first 90 days of employment.
- Employees are also eligible to participate in competitive 401k
plan, after six months of employment.
- This is additional coverage is offered to employees to cover
expenses associated with extended illness and/or advancing age.
Full-time employees are defined as those
who are employed directly by Southeastern Aluminum Products and not
through an intermediate service and work 32 hours or more each week.
