Aluminum Products, Inc. use a number of resources to advertise any vacancies
we may be recruiting for, the medium we use can greatly depend on the
nature of the job and the area in which it will be based. Some of the
avenues we use include, local newspapers,
monster.com, local
recruitment agencies and our own Human Resource page on our website.
The Vacancy
Each vacancy
is based on the person specifications that lists the key attributes,
skills and experience that we would want a person employed in that particular
post to possess, please read it carefully and based any application
on the key skills required, since short listing will be based on person
specifications.
Unless stated we require
a completed application form to be filled out for every post. You may
also submit your resume with your application form.
Interviews
Short
listed applicants will be invited for an interview. For some posts this
may consist of multiple interview, one of which will usually be with
the manager of the area you will be joining. In some cases (usually
the office based positions) an interview with the president of company
may be required.
Offers of Employment
Offers
of employment will be subject to a satisfactory reference from a current
or most recent employer. Eligibility to work in the United States of
America is also required, by providing a relevant document as specified
by the Dept. of Homeland Security. If you are a US resident your social
security will be required
Every offer of employment
is subject to the completion of a mandatory drug test. This will take
place usually on the first day by the company doctor and any employment
will only be confirmed once the test has returned with a negative result.
Employees of Southeastern
Aluminum Products, Inc also have to complete a three month probationary
period, at the end of this time period employee will be confirmed in
position.
