Metal Towel Bar Option For CrystalLine Frameless By-Pass

Discontinued Items
At the end of 2007, Southeastern
Aluminum Products stopped offering Mirror Doors due to a drop
in demand. At this time we also stopped carrying Superchip glass
due to it's potential hazard when used in shower doors applications.

New Antique Glass Pattern
As of December 2007 the pattern
we call Antique will no longer be available and is being replaced
by a similar pattern.
The old pattern was made from a
special roller exclusive to their plant. As the roller aged
and became worn, a new roller was made. The new roller created
a similar but not exact pattern as the original. Because the
old roller is worn and unusable, the old style of Antique will
be phased out and no new stock will be produced. As they run
through their stock of the old Antique, they will begin replacing
it with the new style of Antique.
What this means for Southeastern
Aluminum and its customers is the old Antique pattern will be
stocked until the supply is depleted and the new pattern will
be shipped as the old pattern runs out. This change is noticeable
and the old pattern will not match the new one. So, when you
need to re-order or replace the current pattern in your bath
units, please be sure to return and request replacement for
all pieces so that they will match. If you would like a new
sample of this pattern for your glass sample kit, please notify
your sales representative. Any new glass sample kits will have
the new pattern style included.

Signature Pivot ½ Inch Glass Option
Southeastern Aluminum
is now offering hardware in its Signature Pivot series to accommodate
½" glass. The current pivot wall block and pivot header kits
already allow for ½", requiring only a different pivot channel
kit. A ½" wall channel, wall seal and dual wipe drip have been
added to accommodate the larger glass size. These new ½" glass
parts are available for silver, gold, brushed nickel and oil-rubbed
bronze units.

In March 2006,
Southeastern Aluminum introduced the CrystalLine Framed By-Pass.
This new twist on the CrystalLine Frameless By-Pass maintains
the quality of the CrystalLine look while incorporating sleek
polished framing to create a beautiful new CrystalLine look.

Interlocking Adjustable
Posts For CrystalLine

Brushed Nickel
Southeastern Aluminum is now offering two new CrystalLine, interlocking,
vertical extrusions that can be set to any corner angle between
straight (180°) and a right angle (90°).
These new extrusions are installer friendly in that they will
automatically conform to the miter angles of the header and
threshold (SEJ 119).
The SEJ 128 and SEJ 129 are available upon request for any custom
CrystalLine configuration. Contact Customer Service for additional
information.

3/8" Rain Glass Now Available For Signature
3/8" Rain Glass was recently tested by our engineers for security
in the Signature By-pass and Signature Pivot Door systems. The
rain glass was installed in both configurations and performed
very well. 3/8" rain glass is suitable for use in both of these
systems and is now available for glazed custom units.

New Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish
Oil Rubbed Bronze is a new color to the kitchen and bathroom
scene. Fixtures have been available in the color for some time
and now it is available in bath enclosure extrusions. Southeastern
Aluminum is making Oil Rubbed Bronze available for any configuration
by utilizing a custom powder coat process to achieve this popular
new color.

CrystalLine Hinge Door System Improvements
CrystalLine Frameless Hinge Magnet
A new one-piece magnet will be introduced in early April. The
new magnet is smaller, cleaner looking and less obtrusive than
the old. It has also been designed to reduce the magnetic pull
by about 25% to make the door easier to open.
CrystalLine Hinge Header Brackets
CrystalLine hinge header brackets have been redesigned to use
four set screws to lock the header and threshold corners in
place. The previously used screws allowed no room for corner
re-adjustment and tightening. The new set screws allow for corner
adjustment and will produce higher quality miter joints. The
new brackets also have longer legs that will penetrate further
into the header giving a more solid miter corner.
CrystalLine Frameless Hinge Drip Sweep
Newly designed U-channel drip sweeps will be introduced for
CrystalLine frameless hinge doors in mid-to-late April. These
new sweeps for 1/4" and 3/16" glass will greatly simplify sweep
installation and, if a sweep is ever damaged, it can easily
be replaced by the homeowner. The U-channel drip sweep will
become the standard for CrystalLine frameless doors while the
current "Stick-on" drip sweep will still be an available option.
High-Strength Header for CrystalLine Hinge
The SEJ 160 header, originally designed for Signature Pivot
Door applications, will now be offered as an option for oversize
CrystalLine hinge door applications. This header will give a
stronger, more ridged structure for wider and taller CrystalLine
installations.
Designed to be used with 1/4" glass, a new panel bead will be
available in late April that will fit the panel firmly into
the header. The header will accept all of the CrystalLine vertical
extrusions and is provided with an SEJ 161 snap-in filler piece
to finish off the top of the door opening.

Adjustable Header Bracket for Signature Pivot
For odd angle miter corners, an adjustable corner bracket is
now being offered. The bracket will adjust to accommodate any
angle from 0 to 180 degrees.

Brushed Nickel Finish Available for Signature By-Pass Custom
To complement the newer finishes available in contemporary bath
fixtures we have introduced an array of extrusions in a brushed
nickel finish. Brushed nickel finish extrusions are available
for CrystalLine Frameless Hinge Doors as well as Signature Series
By-pass Enclosures. The Signature series by-pass enclosures
are available as a cut-to-size custom unit, with the option
of in-line and return panels, or in stock lengths. Click here

Wall Mounted
Floor Display
Southeastern Aluminum has developed
a new floor display option for those customers that do not have
room for a larger floor display or would like to add Signature
Pivot but do not want to change anything in their existing display.
The new wall mounted display is
now available and can be utilized to display any of the Southeastern
hinge-type doors without the need for additional space. As the
title implies, this display is mounted to the wall on four pieces
of SEJ 38 that are pre-cut and supplied with the display. These
pieces allow distance between the wall and the unit, thereby
making room for your chosen handle.
