Standard Specifications

For CH Series

Units shall be CH Series hinge shower doors as manufactured by Southeastern Aluminum Products, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida.

Materials

Structural metal shall be extruded aluminum – 6463 or 6063 alloy, T-5 or T-6 temper-anodized with a satin finish or a brite dip silver finish. Glass shall be Safety Tempered Glass to meet or exceed ANSI 97.1–2004-UA and/or CPSC 16CFR–1201-III requirements.

Construction

Door panels shall be constructed of aluminum frames with 45º mitered corners, fastened with heavy corner screws. Frames shall allow 3/8 inch minimum penetration of glass with glass set in extruded vinyl channels. Units shall have full-length enclosed hinge with nylon sleeve. Door panel shall have an extruded one-piece drip assembly with vinyl sweep. Extruded door handles and magnetic latch are standard.

Installation

Installation shall be made according to Manufacturer's instructions and drawings included with each unit. Thresholds shall be shipped extra length to allow exact cutting at time of installation.

Limited Warranty

Southeastern Aluminum's products are guaranteed for a period of one year from date of purchase against defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is Limited to repair or replacement of defective units at the option of Southeastern Aluminum Products, Inc. This warranty is void if the unit shows any signs of physical abuse or neglect. Southeastern Aluminum Products, Inc. is not responsible for any damages or injury to persons or property except for replacement or repair of defective units.
