Standard Specifications

For CrystalLine Hinge

Units shall be CrystalLine Hinge Shower Doors as manufactured by Southeastern Aluminum Products, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida.

Materials

Structural metal shall be extruded aluminum – 6463 alloy, T-6 temper – brite dip anodized with polished finish or powder coated. Glass shall be Safety Tempered Glass to meet or exceed ANSI 97.1–2004-UA and/or CPSC 16CFR–1201-III requirements. For Frameless units, glass shall have polished or no-shiner edgework.

Construction

Door panel shall be constructed of aluminum frames which allow 3/8 inch minimum penetration of glass with glass set in extruded vinyl channels. Units shall have a full-length enclosed hinge with nylon sleeve.

Framed Door

Aluminum Frames shall have 45° mitered corners and be fastened with heavy corner screws. Door panel shall have an adjustable aluminum two-piece drip system with vinyl sweep. Extruded door handles are cut and buffed prior to anodizing and polishing. A full-length magnetic latch is standard.

Frameless Doors

Units shall utilize 3/16 " or 1/4" glass set in aluminum hinge stile secured with extruded vinyl channel. Door panel shall have an extruded dual – durometer vinyl drip rail. The extruded door handle is cut and buffed prior to anodizing and polishing, and a rubber pad is provided for installation. The aluminum strike jamb shall have full-length vinyl compression seal. Southeastern Aluminum’s exclusive magnetic latch is standard on all units.

Installation

Installation shall be made according to Manufacturer’s instructions and drawings included with each unit. Headers and sill tracks shall be shipped extra length to allow exact cutting at time of installation.

Limited Warranty

Southeastern Aluminum’s products are guaranteed for a period of one Year from date of purchase against defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective units at the options of Southeastern Aluminum Products, Inc. This warranty is void if the unit shows any signs of physical abuse or neglect. Southeastern Aluminum Products, Inc. is not responsible for any damages or injury to persons or property except for replacement or repair of defective units.
